Concreting works in Porto Franco are performed by NOBE and Kontek Int

The Porto Franco business and leisure centre signed a designing and concreting works agreement with the total value close to 31 million euros with the consortium established by NOBE and Kontek Int AS.

‘The start of concreting works sends a message that the construction of the largest leisure centre in Tallinn moves full steam ahead,’ said Rauno Teder, the member of the Management Board of Porto Franco.

The Chair of the Management Board of NOBE, Mait Rõõmusaar noted that this contract expresses recognition for the company’s design team that was able to provide for Porto Franco an efficient, yet cost-saving solution. The total volume of the design and concreting works of Porto Franco is around 77,000 m³; the centre will feature three underground and five above-ground floors.

A total of 160 million euros will be invested in the development of Porto Franco, and the new multifunctional city block will have over 150,000 m2 of space.

NOBE, i.e. Nordcon Betoon OÜ provides turnkey construction services, from designing to the completion of the building. NOBE employs a staff of nearly 155 persons. Kontek Int AS is specialised on major construction projects and employs around 100 professionals in the field of concreting.
